About Green Giant

We started because we couldn't unknow what we saw.

How It Started

In 2010, we were contractors who loved the outdoors. We'd spend weekends in the woods, hiking, clearing land, understanding how trees grow and how storms move through a forest. That love for nature kept us grounded. But then we started seeing things we couldn't unsee. After hurricanes and ice storms tore through our community, we'd walk through neighborhoods and see homes damaged in ways that were completely preventable. Dead branches hanging over roofs. Trees leaning into power lines. Limbs that should have been removed years ago, now wrapped around gutters and crushing siding.

We realized most people didn't know what danger looked like until it was too late. They weren't neglecting their properties—they just weren't trained to spot risk the way we were. So we shifted what we do. Instead of waiting for storm damage to happen, we started helping families see the threats ahead of time and remove them. Creating safer homes and properties became our calling.

Our early projects taught us fast. We learned that homeowners wanted honesty, not a sales pitch. They wanted someone to walk their property with them, point to specific hazards, and explain exactly why each one mattered. They wanted to feel confident that the work was done right, not just done. That's when we built safety and customer satisfaction into everything.

'Safety isn't a product we sell. It's the reason we exist. Every assessment, every cut, every recommendation comes from watching what happens when risk goes unnoticed.'

What We've Learned

Industry-leading safety doesn't come from cutting corners or rushing jobs. It comes from thoroughness. We learned this on early projects where we noticed a problem we almost missed because we were moving too fast. Now, every single assessment is deliberate and complete. We spend the time it takes because missing one hazard means someone's home is still at risk. That's not acceptable to us.

Customer satisfaction happens when expectations are clear and exceeded at every step. We've seen contractors disappear mid-project, leave properties looking worse than when they arrived, or blame homeowners for not communicating clearly. We do the opposite. We explain what we're doing, why we're doing it, and what the result will look like before we start. Our crew shows respect for your home—protecting landscaping, cleaning up daily, treating your property like it matters because it does.

Being locally owned means we see the same neighborhoods year after year. We know the soil, the tree species, the storm patterns. We care about the community's safety in the way only someone who lives here can. That commitment isn't borrowed—it's ours.

Working With Us

When you call us, we show up to listen first. We walk your property, point out what we see, and answer every question without pressure. You get an honest assessment of what's at risk and what can wait. Our crew arrives on time, works methodically, and leaves your space cleaner than we found it. People tell us they notice the difference immediately—not just in the results, but in how respected their home feels throughout the process.

We're here to make your home safer and your property stronger. If you've seen storm damage in your neighborhood or you're wondering what hazards might be hiding on your own land, we'd like to help. Reach out and let us know what you're seeing.
